Meghan Markle joins the Queen for joint royal outing

Why Meghan Markle stood behind Kate Middleton for her balcony debut

The monarch and her new granddaughter-in-law, who Wednesday the Duke of Sussex less than a month ago, arrived by royal train at Runcorn station to begin the day's engagements before departing by vehicle for the Mersey Gateway Bridge. Last week, the duchess did so again when she attended the Trooping the Colour parade in an off-the shoulder dress.

"This hand-to-ear touch looks like a partial cut-off gesture, meaning it is a slight barrier that is formed when she is under scrutiny or pressure".

While the Queen donned a similar green suit to the ensemble she wore to the royal wedding in May, Meghan greeted eager fans outside of the train station wearing a beige Givenchy pencil dress with a belted waist. The event is part of the celebrations to mark the70th birthday of the Prince of Wales.

Meghan is the first of the younger generation of royals to use the train.

Speaking to Grazia she said that after Your Majesty: 'it is Ma'am, thrown into conversation as many times as possible'.

We can only imagine how nervous Prince Harry's other half must have been feeling, but she didn't seem to show it. That's because Markle was simply taking her proper place in the royal hierarchy.

Indeed, the Queen does love to remain the center of attention with her brighter than bright frocks, but she makes this fashion choice for her fans.

It would not be a surprising move from Meghan, who has already paid tribute to Diana on many occasions - with her engagement ring, for example.

Royal expert Omid Scobie told Elle that the Palace stated up front there would be no honeymoon scoops: "Kensington Palace have said that the honeymoon is very much a private trip and they won't be releasing details to the media". They looked like naughty teenagers giggling together at one point.
