Fortnite Mobile is Now Available to the Public on iOS

Fortnite is now available on iOS for everyone, no invite required

The wait is over and Epic Games has now chose to stop making the mobile version of its hugely popular 100-player PVP game Fortnite Battle Royale feel like an exclusive club with invitation-only membership.

This has now been confirmed by Epic Games, and we've got details about how Vending Machines will work in Fortnite: Battle Royale.

Currently, Fortnite for iOS will only work on the iPhone SE, 6S, 7, 8 and X. It will also run on the iPad Mini 4, iPad Air 2 and the iPad Pro.

It's become readily apparent that both Fortnite and PUBG mobile games have become so exceedingly popular that they're known issues at schools across the United States.

Because the failed to connect to matchmaking service Fortnite error is a widespread issue, there is little that you can do right now other than be patient and wait it out. Now all you have to do is head to the App Store and download the game. Not to mention, some players might have to decide whether to hold onto materials for building or trading them in and hopefully getting something good.

These older devices do not support Fortnite: iPhone 5S, 6, 6 Plus; iPad Air, Mini 2, Mini 3, iPod Touch.

He's got a point, lots of games are positive experiences, but by suggesting gaming addiction isn't a thing as it "could stigmatise regular consumers of video games", is rather odd. Aside from the fact that Fortnite is fun as hell to play, the game is continuously updated with patches, new modes, guns, and more.

The company says we should expect Android availability to arrive within the next few months. Maybe, the reason behind the game's popularity is the game's free-to-play business model.
