Trump calls nations 'shithole' in White House talks

Here we go again

However, the the White House has denied all of these comments.

But, the comedian, who was born and raised in South Africa, pointed out that Trump's racist comments about the USA letting in immigrants from "shithole countries" including Haiti and those in Africa ... changed everything as you can imagine. White House and Hill aides say Stephen Miller, the president's top immigration official, was concerned there could be a deal proposed that was too liberal and made sure other conservative lawmakers were present. If anything, it was a good public relations move for the Trump White, which has been barraged with allegations that the president is unstable. He then suggested the US focus on bringing more immigrants from places like Norway, the paper reported.

Trump's comments on the campaign trail are in direct contrast to his remarks Thursday, when he decried the migration of citizens from "shithole countries" referring to Haiti and African nations, sources told CNN.

"He will always reject temporary, weak, and risky stopgap measures that threaten the lives of hardworking Americans, and undercut immigrants who seek a better life in the United States through a legal pathway", the statement concluded.

The network also reported that Trump said, "Why do we need more Haitians?"

In a statement, the White House didn't deny the president made the remarks. Richard Durbin (D-Ill.) told Trump that under the proposal, a lottery for visas would be ended, and that in exchange people from African countries who had benefited from that lottery would be given other access to visas, The Associated Press reported, citing two unnamed sources.

Trump had seemed amenable to the plan earlier in the day, but his mood shifted during the meeting and he didn't seem interested, the Post said. "Why do we want people from Haiti here?" "They never took a thing from our federal government", Love said in the statement.

Many Democrats and some Republican lawmakers slammed the president for his remarks.

He then got truly vile and racist when referring to African countries where he allegedly said "Why do we want these people from all these s**thole countries here?"

Senator Chris Van Hollen is also speaking out on Twitter saying that he is disgusted.

This denial came among a series of other tweets Friday where Trump defended his immigration stance. Graham and Durbin thought they would be meeting with Trump alone and were surprised to find immigration hard-liners such as Rep. Kevin McCarthy, R-California, Bob Goodlatte, R-Virginia, and Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart, R-Florida.
