Hillary Clinton savages Trump's United Nations speech on "Colbert"

Hillary 9-18 DC

Earlier this month, Clinton said she wouldn't rule out questioning the legitimacy of the election if the country learns the Russian interference in the election is deeper than known.

"It was very painful and hard, but at the end I really feel like I've done my very best to lay out what happened so that it doesn't happen again", she told Stephen Colbert about the book. "I mean, that is where we settle our political differences, and that's where it should be", she said.

The fact that this woman didn't get the job is (hopefully prosecutably) criminal.

Hillary Clinton and Emma Stone are both in the midst of lengthy press tours, Clinton for her book What Happened and Stone for her film Battle of the Sexes. "I said, 'Well, I'll ask him, but if he's busy, I'll go'". Apparently, Clinton says as much in her book, which Colbert points out on the show.

Of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Clinton said she thinks he doesn't like democracy, doesn't like the USA and "wants to undermine how we see each other".

After Hillary Clinton chastised Trump's ominous United Nations remarks about North Korea, Trump on Wednesday morning chided her and her husband Bill Clinton for supposedly letting Kim Jong Un develop weapons on their watch. We call on all nations to work with us to try to end the threat posed by Kim Jong Un.' And not call him 'Rocket Man, ' the old Elton John song.

She also talked to Colbert about some sexism from Vladimir Putin himself, which feels particularly relevant when it played such an important role in the election. "One of the things you say in the book is that in recovering from this and while writing the book, you leaned heavily on Chardonnay", he said.

"Oh my God", Clinton said while laughing and covering her eyes.

"I wish we could have told those jokes", Colbert said. "Because I did not run for president, and I could barely do it", Colbert said.
