Tom Cruise injured on MI6 set

Jump around! Known for his adrenaline fuelled set-pieces the star has filmed snapped in Paris as well as London for the upcoming flick

The extent of the injuries Cruise sustained this weekend isn't clear at the time of writing, but by the looks of the video, he suffered quite a bit of pain.

The actor was injured on set in London Sunday while filming a stunt for "Mission: Impossible 6", the latest flick in his blockbuster franchise, according to video obtained by TMZ.

"The morning came, and I'm strapped onto the side of that airplane and I'll never forget, I kept telling the pilot, I said, 'Listen, man".

Tom Cruise is known for performing his own stunts in movies, but the danger is completely real. Reps for Cruise and Paramount did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The risky stunt was performed today, and soon after, the star began limping, worrying his staff and crew.

Seeing how Cruise is integral to such an action-heavy movie, his inability to work due to this injury could greatly affect the production process, similar to what happened with Harrison Ford after suffering an injury while filming The Force Awakens.

Meanwhile, producer David Ellison previously revealed that Cruise has been "training for a year" for his role in "Mission: Impossible 6". Also starring are Henry Cavill, Rebecca Ferguson, Angela Bassett and Alec Baldwin. But the 55-year-old refused any help.
