Usher Sued for $10 Million for Allegedly Exposing Woman to Herpes

New $10 mil Lawsuit for Exposing Woman to STD

A woman who slept with the crooner earlier this year claims she had no idea that she was being exposed to herpes when she agreed to have unprotected sex with him, TMZ reports. The woman, referred to as Jane Doe in court docs obtained by the celeb gossip site, claims that, after kissing and having oral sex, she and Usher, 38, hooked up in her Atlanta home on April 16, 2017-but they used a condom. The woman said that when they met the second time to have sex, Usher did not use a condom.

The "Yeah!" singer is reportedly facing a huge lawsuit. Even though the woman did not say if she is infected right now, she is scared about unknowingly being exposed to the virus.

She is seeking compensation for Usher's alleged negligence and battery and for the emotional distress the situation caused her. Well now after the story broke, another woman is coming out of the wood works & trying to collect some money now too, saying she too contracted the virus from Usher earlier this year. It states in the suit that Usher, whose real name is Usher Raymond IV, was diagnosed with herpes around 2009 or 2010 - around the time he split from his wife Tameka Foster.

As the New York Daily News notes, California law states that it is illegal to knowingly transmit an STD to your sexual partner. The performer later denied being a carrier of the non-lethal condition, despite "greenish discharge" from his penis, court documents say. The plaintiff was later diagnosed with herpes, complete with vaginal sores, fevers and chills, she alleged in papers.

Usher has yet to publicly address the lawsuit nor the recently revealed court documents.
